Mikhail is an Associate Professor in Entrepreneurship in the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Division at Nord University Business School. He received his PhD with his dissertation ''The doings of social entrepreneuring: processes and practices of social venturing with public collaboration.'' from Nord university. Mikhail has been a visiting scholar at the Stockholm Business School in Sweden and Audencia Business School, Atlantic campus in France.

He is fascinated with entrepreneurship with a particular passion for social venturing and impact entrepreneurship. In his research Mikhail investigates the intricate social dynamics that entrepreneurs and stakeholders encounter and navigate in the early stages of venture creation as well as during the development and growth of their ventures. His research draws on qualitative methods - particularly ethnographic approaches - to explore the diverse and complex dimensions of these exciting phenomena.

Before starting an academic career, Mikhail gained diverse professional experience in internationalization, Corporate Social Responsibility, sports and tourism industry. Mikhail holds a master's degree from Nord University and the University of Northern British Columbia in Canada.

Mikhail is involved in teaching and supervision at both bachelor's and master's level.

Available for supervising students and particularly welcome strong applicants who share my research interests in entrepreneurship.
