The topic of their conference was Civil Protection and Comprehensive Security. As a part of their programme they visited us at Center for crisis management and collaboration - Nordlab.
The Mayor of Bodø municipality, politicians, and decision makers were all very interested in our projects and thoughts on future collaboration.
Our team gave a presentation about our activities, study programs, research projects and a sneak-peek of our new facilities. It is important that we know about each other and what capabilities we have across organisations and borders.
This autumn the new Center for crisis management and collaboration - Nordlab will be finalised and opened with bigger and better facilities. This development opens up to greater and broader activity in research and competence development within emergency preparedness and collaboration.
After Nordlab was established in 2018, emergency preparedness has become even more relevant and there is a great demand for our study programs and lifelong learning courses. Exercises are also an important part of our activities, and soon there will be even better facilities for students and emergency response actors.
