University Library Namsos

The University Library in Namsos is located in the main building.

The library provides literature covering the academic subjects taught in Namsos and holds at least a few copies of all items included in the course reading lists.

There are individual study spaces as well as group work areas available in the library.

The library has a multifunction printer for printing, copying, and scanning. Read more about printing here.

Search terminals are available in the library. These are intended for simple searches in Oria and similar systems, and are not connected to printers.

Loans and returns are registered using the self-service lending machine. Reserved books and articles can be collected from the self-service pickup shelf.
We respond to all enquiries at the service desk, by phone, or by email. For more in-depth guidance in literature searching, use of EndNote, or other library services, you are welcome to book an appointment with a librarian. This service is available to all students and staff.

The library is open to anyone over the age of 18 residing in Norway.
