University Library Levanger

The library offers individual study spaces as well as areas for group work. It provides literature covering the academic fields taught and researched in Levanger and holds at least a few copies of all items included in the course reading lists.

Adjacent to the library, there is a silent reading room, group rooms, and additional study spaces on the 2nd floor. Group rooms can be booked via TimeEdit.

The library has a multifunction printer for printing, copying, and scanning. The device can only be used with a staff or student card. Access to the printer is via your own computer or mobile device. Read more about printing here.

Search terminals are available in the library. These are intended for simple searches in Oria and similar systems and are not connected to printers.

Loans and returns are registered using the self-service lending machine. Reserved books and articles can be collected from the self-service pickup shelf.

We respond to all enquiries at the service desk, by phone, or by email. Guidance in literature searching, academic writing, or the use of reference management tools can be booked through our online system. This service is available to all students and staff.

Opening hours

Opening hours at the Nord University libraries

During staffed opening hours, the library is open to anyone over the age of 18 residing in Norway.

Outside staffed opening hours, the library operates as an extended-hours facility. This means that students and staff have access to the premises every day, throughout the year, from 07:00 to 23:00 using a valid student or staff card and PIN code.
