Midtseminar for Camila Caldeira Langfeldt, FLU

Kandidat: Camila Caldeira Langfeldt

Arbeidsittel: Dreaming, Worlding, and Belonging: Stories from a Community-Based Arts Education Project with Children and Families in Trondheim, Norway

Om prosjektet: Camila C. Langfeldt’s PhD work grows out of an ongoing community-based arts initiative developed in collaboration with an elementary school in Trondheim, Norway, involving seven- and eight-year-old children and their families.

The project explores how arts education, through slow, relational, and community-based practices, can foster community and belonging, and support children’s world-making processes and future imaginaries in contexts marked by social inequalities.

The PhD project is part of the Horizon Europe project dialoguing@rts – Advancing Cultural Literacy for Social Inclusion through Dialogical Arts Education (d@rts), led by the Faculty of Education and Arts at Nord University. The dissertation will be submitted to the PhD program in Science of Professions at Nord University.
