Monica Sinke
I am a PhD candidate in Professional Studies at the Faculty of Nursing and Health Sciences, where I am affiliated with the research group Medicines and Medication Management and Health Services and Population Health.
I hold a Master's degree in Health and Occupational Health Psychology from Leiden University in the Netherlands. My master's thesis focused on rumination and cardiovascular responses, and I was actively involved in data collection for the project. In addition, I hold a Master's degree from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim. My thesis examined the effects of physical activity on sedentary behaviour among older adults.
My research interests focus on holistic health, health promotion, and preventive health across the lifespan. I am particularly interested in how health-promoting interventions can improve health and quality of life across diverse populations and age groups.
