Godskesen is a professor of nursing at Nord University. She holds a PhD in medical ethics from Uppsala University. She heads the research group Ethical and Professional Practice in Nursing.
Godskesen’s research focuses on ethical challenges in healthcare and research. She works particularly on ethics in clinical studies, with an emphasis on informed consent, vulnerable groups, and ethical dilemmas in practice, including palliative care. She also investigates clinical and ethical issues in nursing, as well as research ethics and scientific integrity, with a particular interest in publication practices and research misconduct.
