Arctic Emergency Management Conference (AEMC)
AEMC is a large and international three-day conference which aims to strengthen emergency preparedness and response in the Arctic.

Emergency response vessels in the Bodo harbor
During the conference, participants will have the opportunity to see and visit emergency response vessels in the Bodo harbor.

- Online participants: Free
Full access to the conference, lunch, coffee and transportation between Bodø city center and the conference venue is included in the registration fee.
Organizers
The Emergency Prevention, Preparedness and Response Working Group of the Arctic Council (EPPR) is organizing this conference in collaboration with The Center for Crisis Management and Collaboration (Senter for beredskap og samvirke - Nordlab) at Nord University.
- EPPR is part of the Arctic Council and is the foremost international forum for cooperation on crisis issues in the Arctic, with the aim of promoting risk reduction and improving preparedness in the Arctic.
- The Center for Crisis Management and Collaboration contributes to the realization of the university's focus area within Societal Security. The center has a special focus within the fields of emergency preparedness, exercises and collaboration in the Arctic. At the core of the center is NORDLAB, an exercise and simulator laboratory which offers facilities in Bodo for carrying out various types of exercises, research, dialogue with emergency response actors and dissemination of knowledge.
