The aim of the conference is to promote phenomenological writing as a form of writing that allows life to be present and even breathe in scientific texts.
The structure of the conference will feature a combination of keynote lectures, discussions, opportunities to practise phenomenological writing processes, and concrete discussions among the participants concerning the development of texts.
The main target group will be researchers and doctoral students from all over Europe who are already working in the field of phenomenology, and who will already have some insight and experience with regard to phenomenological writing. Others are of course welcome, but they would have to familiarise themselves with the basic phenomenological perspectives.
Participants should expect to do a certain amount of prereading and a pre-writing exercise in preparation for the conference. Information about this will be forwarded to participants after registration.
The conference is being arranged by the research group Theory of practical knowledge at Nord University. We are looking forward to seeing you!
