Demos open lecture: Challenges for Democracy and Education for Democracy

Centre for Education for Sustainable Development and Global Citizenship (Demos) is welcoming a small delegation from the University of Split in Croatia. Together with Norwegian colleagues, they will discuss topics such as citizenship, participation in society, and the prerequisites for making democracy work.

Today we are inviting staff and students at Nord to an open, public lecture about challenges for democracy and education for democracy, with contributions from Ivana Restović and Marita Brčić Kuljiš from the University of Split.

The visit from Split was arranged following a visit from Demos to Split last year with the help of SEA-EU seed funds to the project Voices of the Seas. See news piece here.
