Research seminar: Surviving Peer Review
The Division of Organization, Management and Working Life will host a research seminar together with RESPONSE (Research Group for Sport and Society).
We want to give researchers the opportunity to share experiences of receiving and handling peer review in the writing process. The aim of the seminar is knowledge exchange about revising text and working through peer review in order to get articles accepted for publication. The seminar is open to all staff members of FSV, from PhD candidates to professors.
To participate in the seminar, please send a one-page document including the following points to Mikhail Kosmynin (mikhail.kosmynin@nord.no) and Anne Tjønndal (anne.tjonndal@nord.no):
- Your expertise
(subject fields, methodology, experience with publishing, editorial work and/or peer review) - Your current writing projects
(papers/articles/chapters you are currently working on, their progress) - Your wishes for the seminar
(topics, modes of working and ideas you would like us to include in the seminar)
Participants must have either:
1) One of their own manuscripts and the peer review they need to address
(revise and resubmit stage), or
2) A earlier example of peer review feedback they have received.
Deadline to sign up for the seminar: 1st of October.
We are looking forward to an engaging and thought-provoking event.
