TEDx Bodø
The YouTube phenomenon TEDx Talks is coming to Bodø in collaboration with Nord University.
This will be the first TEDx event in Bodø and Northern Norway, bringing together inspiring speakers from around the world to talk about topics such as sustainability, climate, education, democracy, and Indigenous knowledge.
Speakers from Nord University:
- Prof. Mark Costello: Topic 'Myths, Zombies and Marine Protected Areas'. Mark Costello is a leading marine ecologist influencing global biodiversity policy.
- Dr. Nayr Ibrahim: Topic 'Multilingualism and Identity in Education'. Nayr is a global expert in multilingualism and children’s rights in education.
The other speakers are:
- Dr. Hannah C. Sabo. Topic: 'How to Stop Fearing Mistakes and Start Celebrating Them'. Hannah is a science educator and researcher focusing on conceptual understanding in physics.
- Nicholas Rowe. Topic: 'Can Dancing Prepare Democracy for Dystopia?'. Nicholas is a UNESCO Chair exploring dance, politics, and community empowerment.
