Young Researchers Night
As part of Forskningsdagene the Norwegian Academy for young researchers (AYF) in collaboration with Nord University and Nordland Research Institute are hosting a networking event for young researchers in Bodø.

There will be presentations from young researchers and student counselling, free pizza and beer/soft drinks. All this with plenty of time for mingling, dancing and networking at the end of the night!

As an English language event, we especially welcome newly arrived and established international young scholars. Join us for this excellent opportunity to meet like-minded people and expand your network. Food and drink will be served – and the bar in Bådin Bryggeri will be open. The main target group is researchers from 20 to 45 years, but the event is free and open to everyone.

Program:

18:00 – 23:00 Mingling and networking with pizza and drinks
18:30 – 20:30 Welcome by Julia Olsen and Aase Kristine Lundberg

  • "How to balance work, study and your everyday life, while maintaining a good physical and mental health", by Heidi Frøystein, Student counsellor, Studentinord
  • "Creating your own line: Reflections on embracing the Postdoc journey", by Mikhail Kosmynin, Nord University
  • "The Vet who ended up in social sciences - being a young researcher at a research institute", Unn H. Holgersen, Nordland Research Institute

Registration:

Because we will be serving food and drinks, participation is limited and registration in advance is needed. Registration is done through this link: Registration Young Researchers Night in Bodø.
