You can use the university library even if you are not a student or employee at Nord University.
Contact the service desk and present valid identification to obtain a library card.
For privacy reasons, library accounts that have not been used in the past 12 months will be deleted.
Printed materials:
You can borrow books available at the library from all of our branches. If you need literature that the university library does not have, you must contact your local public library to request an interlibrary loan.
Digital resources:
The university library subscribes to many databases, e-journals, and e-books. Due to licensing restrictions, access to e-resources is limited for external users (“walk-in use”). Dedicated search terminals are available at the library where you can read the content on screen. Contact the service desk if you need to download files to a USB drive. Printing is not available for external users.
