University Library Steinkjer

The University Library in Steinkjer is located on the second floor of Building B at InnoCamp.

The University Library in Steinkjer holds literature covering the academic disciplines taught and researched at the Steinkjer campus and has a limited number of copies of all course reading materials.

The library provides reading areas, workspaces for group work, and a silent reading room. In addition, there is a group room that can be reserved, as well as a newspaper corner located outside the main entrance to the library.

In the copy room within the library premises, students can print, copy, and scan using their student card. More information about printing is available here.

There are four search terminals in the library. These are intended for simple searches in Oria and are not connected to printers.

Loans and returns of books and journals are registered via the self-service lending machine. Requested books, journals, and articles can be found on the pickup shelf next to the lending machine. We also offer extension cords for loan. Outside opening hours, books may be returned in the book drop located outside the main entrance to the library.

The library offers guidance for students and staff on topics such as literature searching, academic writing, reference management, and EndNote. Please contact us at the service desk or by email or phone to arrange an appointment. You may also book a digital guidance session.

The library is open to everyone; however, to borrow materials, you must be over 18 years of age and resident in Norway.
