Semester registration
All students at Nord University must register in Studentweb at the start of the semester. You can pay the semester fee and register as a student as soon as you receive your student number. After you have completed payment and registration, you must register for teaching and examinations. You will also be able to access important learning tools and online meeting rooms at Nord University. The deadline for payment and registration is September 1st.
Monday the 12th of August:
- 0830-0945: Joint information meeting for international students. (Information about rooms will come later).
- 1000: It will be given information about the semester and what to expect regarding activities and lectures. We meet at Ny2104 on Monday the 12th of August at 10am.
The two first weeks it will only be daytrips and activities nearby. The first hiking trip will be in week 35. A four day trip with tents. Information about equipment should have been sent to you by mail.

The class timetable will be available in TimeEdit in the course of summer holidays. Follow the link below to check if your timetable has been published.
After you have completed semester registration, you can log in to TimeEdit and see your personalized timetable. Note that information about timetables also can be given in Canvas. We recommend that you log in to Canvas regularly.
Digital learning forms an important part of education at Nord, regardless of mode of delivery. It is important to have the rigtht equipment. All students should have access to:
- PC/Mac/tablet with internet access
- Headset
- Web camera
If you have special needs that affect your learning situation, you can apply for special arrangements in teaching and examinations. Application deadline is September 1st.
