All students at Nord University must register in Studentweb at the start of the semester.
You can pay the semester fee and register as a student as soon as you receive your student number.
After you have completed payment and registration, you must register for teaching and examinations. You will also be able to access important learning tools and online meeting rooms at Nord University.

Sunday, August 13th
16:00 – 20:00: Pre Study BBQ in “Gryta” by the main canteen.
The Student Welfare organization Studentinord fires up their grills and invites all new students to a free BBQ
Monday August 14th
10:00 – 13:00: Orientation day for International Students in Auditorium Stein Rokkan (A2)
Tuesday August 15th
10:30 – 12:00: Opening seminar for Nord University Business School
(This is in Norwegian, but you will get your buddy group after the seminar)
13:00 – 14:00: Opening Seminar for Nord University (in Norwegian)
Wednesday August 16th
12:00-14:00: Academic advisors will be on Stand in “HHN-gata” at the Business School
Thursday August 17th
08:00-10:00: Free breakfast for all new students in the main canteen
10:00-14:00: Tour de Nord – outside the main canteen.
A puzzle run to get to know the area around campus
Friday August 18th
10:00 – 14:00: Open door at the academic advisors.

Equipment
Digital learning forms an important part of education at Nord, regardless of mode of delivery. It is important to have the right equipment. All students should have access to:
- PC/Mac/tablet with internet access
- Headset
- Web camera
Special learning arrangements
If you have special needs that affect your learning situation, you can apply for special arrangements in teaching and examinations. Application deadline is September 1st.
