  • has advanced knowledge of the fields of dissemination and social analysis, and specialized insight into journalism and communication work, as well as the various societal roles and missions these professions represent
  • has in-depth knowledge of media and society
  • can analyze professional issues based on the history, traditions, characteristics, framework conditions, and placement of journalism and the communication field in society
  • has in-depth knowledge of what promotes or hinders innovation in various enterprises
  • has insight into laws, regulations, and other factors that are significant for journalists and communication professionals with their own businesses
  • has knowledge of international research and methods within journalism and communication work


Skills:

The candidate

  • has advanced communication skills, with an understanding of context, platform, genre, and audience, enabling conscious and appropriate communication using language, photography, sound, and video
  • can collect and manage large amounts of data, and communicate complex relationships in an accessible and truthful manner
  • has advanced analytical skills and source-critical competence
  • can work independently on practical and theoretical problem-solving and analytical tasks
